Thu 16 Feb 2017 post chemo and methylprednisolone

Elise had a fairly poor sleep post chemo last night but had quite a good day with only background nausea. She started the day with a pulse of 750mg of methylprednisolone and then was able to get the line out of her arm much to her relief.
I had to laugh last night as the chemo gave her a headache and she asked for something to help. The nurse did the right thing and said, “I’ll go and see what dosage you get”. She came back with one Panadol! They had just just happily administered poison to her that amongst other things causes hair loss, nausea and your bladder to bleed and one Panadol was the best that could be done. Ha Ha

  2. You are such a brave girl. You take that poison without any fuss and how do you swallow all those tablets at once!!!?

  3. Hi Elise I have been catching up on your super blog and the progress you've been making sounds tremendous. I think your mum and dad have become medical experts (the jargon they're using is anazing) but very necessary to know this stuff for your sake. I loved seeing you using your wheelchair and pray the funding for that comes sooner rather than later. Keep those muscles toned with your physiotherapy so that when you're finally ready to walk your legs will be able to keep up! God bless. Kerri Jones
